... all of your best thoughts and well wishes as my brother in law *Mike* has his triple bypass in the Seattle VA hospital on Thursday morning (6am). We'll be there rooting for him. It will be a LONG day, and I will be more than pleased to know you'll be thinking (and some of you praying if you do that sort of thing) for his well being. He's only 52, just a few months younger than me.

All my prayers will be with him. My hubby had a heart attack a year ago Halloween. It was the scariest thing. So I know what you are going through. I wish him well and a speady recovery.

Shannon, thank you. Hope your hubby is all better now. Mike 'sailed' through the surgery and at last report is doing very well. We came home early because it would be a few hours yet before we could see him, and we were exhausted. Just got off the phone with nurse and he's doing great after ventilator removal. So all is good. Thank you for your well wishes:)

Randi, thank you:) Well since you mentioned it, here's what I sent to my PSP mods list earlier:

We picked him up on Friday (10-05) as scheduled and I've hardly been able to sit down since. He's a handful, but is making amazing progress. When we first saw him we were shocked as his pallor looked close to that of a zombie (no kidding). So we've been guarding him closely ever since. What a difference a few days makes, his colour is completely back and he even has ruddy cheeks! So been doing very well.

Due to necessity, I've been pretty much on the run ever since. Dean (Mike's brother and caregiver) is now referred to as "Jeeves" (LOL), as he is Mike's personal butler, valet, chef and MORE (I call him the energizer bunny!). lol. But I've become the shopping queen. Every time I get back from yet another round of very expensive and time consuming shopping, they send me out again. I've been to wal mart 3 times in as many days, including the local drugstore and supermarket. It is a BEAR shopping for heart healthy and diabetic stuff. Every single label needs to be studied, and he wants this and that and the other thing too.

Consequently, I've been totally absent (aside from updating the website daily) and am hopelessly lost and behind in email. Haven't had a chance to follow ANYTHING.
